Meet Ellen.
Ellen Hudson-O’Brien is the founder and lead trainer at Hudsons Media.
As the proud daughter of a nurse and a television news reporter, Ellen’s career was shaped by a belief in human connection and the power of words. Watching her mother carefully explain treatment to a patient and her father tell compelling, thoughtful stories inspired her to focus her talents on healthcare communication.
She began her career in agency public relations before spending seven years at UnitedHealthcare, one of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations. There, she led communications during high-stakes situations and coached c-suite leaders on how to communicate clearly under pressure.
Ellen later founded Hudsons Media to help leaders capture the attention of their audience, while maintaining each leader’s unique perspective and experience.
She has since trained more than 250 healthcare executives and clinicians to communicate in a way that creates understanding, builds trust, and improves outcomes for their stakeholders.
